The last few years have brought loss and uncertainty for so many of us. If you’re feeling depressed, overwhelmed, or just stuck, know that you’re not alone — and it’s okay not be okay. Finding a therapist can be frustrating, but it’s worth the effort. With the right match, psychotherapy is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself.
I trained at Columbia University and have practiced social work for 20+ years. My approach is eclectic and influenced by multiple perspectives, including psychodynamic, cognitive, and behavioral theories. I’m interested in the body and brain connection, as well as the healing power of self-compassion, mindfulness, and somatic practices.
I value the expertise you bring from your own lived experience. Together, we’ll explore how past events and relationships, thoughts, beliefs, and intersecting identities have shaped your experiences. I am compassionate and offer a nonjudgmental, safe, affirming space where you can speak freely and gain insight into what your needs are and how to meet them.
