Appointment Policies

First Appointment Policy

 

If you do cancel/no show your first appointment twice, we will not be able to reschedule the first appointment a third time.

 

Cancellation Policy

At least 48 hours notice of cancellation is expected. This would allow us to offer your canceled time slot to another client waiting for an appointment. 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment.  If you cannot give us a 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged the amount of $40. For Monday appointments, the notification needs to be given on or before Friday. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

This cancellation policy is standard in the medical and mental health fields and will be strictly enforced. The only time we will waive this fee is in the event of a serious or contagious illness or emergency.

The phone number to call or text for an appointment cancellation is 718-701-2220. You may call this number at any time of the day or night to leave a voice message or send a text message.

No-Show Policy

 

If  you either forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment, you will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged a fee of $40 for your “missed” appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

 

Arriving Late Policy

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for paying for the “full” session.

Please plan accordingly and arrive on time.
