I received my Social Work degree in 1997 and spent many years working in hospitals. I worked in psychiatry, pediatrics, medicine, and the emergency department of a level one trauma center. Many patients I saw in the Emergency Department were victims of severe trauma, including sexual assault and domestic violence.
In addition to my Social Work license, I am Licensed in Education, and have many years of training in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked with children as a school counselor and educator. Much of my experience has been with autistic children and their families to provide support for the many challenges they face.
I strive to help clients maximize their ability to be independent and successful individuals.
